Hospital Deputy Superintendent said the cause of death was something else
Deputy Superintendent of Sadar Hospital, Dr. Nagmani Raj, says that as per government provisions, measles, vitamin A, PCV, mumps vaccine is given after completion of 9 months. All these vaccines have also been given to two other 9 month old children at Chhatauna Anganwadi Centre, both of whom are safe. However, considering the seriousness of the matter, a medical team of three doctors has been formed and the post-mortem of the dead body has been done. When the post mortem report comes, it will be clear what caused the death. Deputy Superintendent Dr. Nagamani Raj says that there is very little chance of death due to vaccination. He said that the cause of death of the child could be something else, for now it would be better to wait till the post mortem report comes.
